Monument is a Brutalist architectural artwork made from separate pieces of hand painted vegetable tanned leather, brought back together in subtle tones of creams, ochres and blacks. There are undertones of mark making as this piece was painted in several thin layers allowing the beauty and natural grain of the leather to take centre stage.
